Yogurt in your dog’s diet helps boost its immune system. Giving it a teaspoonful of yogurt daily is perfect for building your dog’s immunity and in the prevention of diarrhea.
2) Vitamin E for dogs skin
If your dog is itchy, then try rubbing vitamin E on its dry skin. Break open a vitamin E capsule and pour the oil and rub it directly on your dog’s itchy and dry areas. Carry out twice or thrice daily depending on the severity of the itching.
3) Oatmeal bath for dogs
Take some oatmeal and grind it thoroughly using your food processor. Mix it evenly in warm water and bathe your dog with the mixture. Your dog will get instant relief after sitting in a bath containing oatmeal.
4) Chamomile tea for dogs
Take a chamomile tea bag and dip it in water. Then chill the used tea bag and the liquid in your refrigerator. Pour the chilled tea into a spray bottle and spray the liquid on your dog’s itchy skin. It will get immediate relief.
5) Essential oil shampoo for dogs
Take a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil and add it to a natural shampoo. Then wash your dog’s skin initially with plain water and then with the shampoo.
After this, rinse your dog with vinegar water (1 tablespoonful vinegar mixed in 1 pint of warm water). Use of this shampoo and the vinegar water will remove any soap residue.
It also helps in prevention of dandruff and reduces your dog from itching away.
